These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("TCS") govern the purchase of a plan granting access to paid features of the Plan de Mariage service (a B2C SaaS service operated from Canada, Province of Quebec, and accessible internationally) and, where applicable, the conditions relating to the supply of the digital service. Depending on the payment method chosen, the transaction may be processed either through Paddle (Merchant of Record) or directly by Plan de Mariage (for example Interac transfer), in accordance with Articles 4 and 5.
They supplement the mandatory provisions of Quebec's Consumer Protection Act and, where applicable, French law (Consumer Code) for users residing in France. By validating your order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these TCS.
The TCS apply to the purchase of a plan. The rules governing use of the service (account, invitations, content, availability, suspension) are set out in the Terms of Use ("TOU"). Information relating to personal data and trackers is set out in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
Plan de Mariage is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that allows users to organize a wedding online. The service notably includes guest management, seating chart creation, budget tracking, collaborative planning, publication of a personalized guest website, and an optional Shared Album module allowing users to publish, view, and collect wedding photos.
Some features rely on third-party service providers (payment processing, file hosting, image hosting, link generation, or sharing QR code generation). Features may evolve for technical, legal, or business reasons. Such modifications do not affect rights already acquired through the purchase of a paid plan or option already activated.
Three plans and one optional add-on are offered, each billed as a single payment per wedding:
Paid plans are attached to a single wedding. Reusing, transferring, or pooling a paid plan or a paid option for another wedding is prohibited, even if the validity period has not expired. Exceptionally (for example creation error or postponement), a transfer to another wedding may be considered through support, at the publisher's discretion.
Paid plans are valid from their activation date: Essential (18 months) and Premium (24 months). The Shared Album option, when purchased on its own, is presented in the service as valid for 12 months after the wedding. An extension may be granted exceptionally, without guarantee.
The Shared Album service is intended for normal use within the context of a wedding. Unless otherwise stated in the interface at the time of purchase, a limit of 3,000 photos per wedding applies. This limit is intended to guarantee quality, security, and service performance for all users. In exceptional cases, additional capacity may be requested from support and remains subject to the publisher's discretion.
An upgrade option from the Essential plan to the Premium plan may be offered. The upgrade cost is displayed in the customer area and during payment (in the displayed currency, inclusive of taxes where applicable). In the event of an upgrade, the Premium plan is activated immediately and a new 24-month period begins on the Premium activation date.
As of the date of update of these terms, the Shared Album is also advertised as included at no extra cost for any Essential or Premium subscription completed before April 30, 2026, subject to the conditions displayed in the purchase flow. This promotional offer may be modified or withdrawn without retroactive effect on purchases already confirmed.
Prices for paid plans and the Shared Album option are displayed inclusive of taxes on the pricing page accessible from your customer area. They may be changed at any time without retroactive effect on purchases already completed.
If you exceed the limits of your plan (number of guests, collaborators) or use a module not included in your purchase, some features may be disabled until an upgrade is completed or the relevant option is activated.
The prices of paid plans are displayed inclusive of taxes in the currency of your country on the pricing page within your customer area. Payment is due immediately when you select a plan or the Shared Album option, whether by credit card or any other means offered either within the Paddle checkout interface or via an alternative channel explicitly offered in the interface (for example Interac). No subscription or recurring billing is currently available: each purchase corresponds to the activation of a Plan or an option for one identified wedding.
The total amount payable (including, where applicable, taxes due) is displayed before confirmation, either in the Paddle interface or in the direct payment instructions communicated to the user.
An order confirmation and access to paid features are provided as soon as payment is validated. When the transaction goes through Paddle, invoices and receipts are issued by Paddle (see Article 5). When the transaction is processed directly by Plan de Mariage (for example Interac), confirmation is issued by Plan de Mariage and any proof of payment is provided in accordance with applicable legal requirements. For any question relating to the transaction (payment, tax, invoice, refund), contact first the entity indicated in your confirmation or receipt; for any question relating to the service (access, activation, operation), contact [email protected].
Purchases of paid plans may be offered through Paddle (the Paddle group entity indicated on your receipt), which acts as Merchant of Record (Seller of Record). In that case, Paddle sells the plan, collects the payment, issues invoices and receipts, collects and remits applicable taxes, and processes refunds where applicable. Plan de Mariage provides and operates the digital service to which the plan grants access.
When the transaction is completed through Paddle, it is governed by the terms communicated by Paddle during payment and on your receipt. When the transaction is completed directly by Plan de Mariage (for example Interac), it is governed by these TCS and the information communicated before confirmation. For any request related to the transaction (including withdrawal, cancellation, or refund requests where they apply), please use first the contact details indicated in your confirmation or receipt; you may also contact us at [email protected], and we will assist you, without prejudice to your rights regarding access to and conformity of the service.
Each plan is assigned to the selected wedding. Paid plans remain active for the duration indicated in the customer area from their activation date (Essential: 18 months, Premium: 24 months). The Shared Album option purchased on its own remains active for the duration displayed at purchase. No automatic renewal is scheduled. When a paid plan expires, the wedding becomes eligible again for the Discovery plan, without reimbursement of amounts paid. When an option expires, the relevant module may be disabled until a new purchase or an exceptional extension is granted. A new plan may be purchased to extend or expand the available features, or support may be contacted to request temporary access.
Request for an exceptional extension: when a paid plan has expired, the user may request an exceptional extension once only per wedding. This request is reviewed in order to limit abuse and may be accepted or refused. If accepted, the extension is applied in the customer area according to the terms in force at the time of the request (duration, free or paid nature where applicable); no extension is guaranteed.
In France, you have 14 days from order confirmation to exercise your withdrawal right, as long as you have not requested immediate performance of the digital services (access to paid features). If you request immediate performance (in particular by ticking the dedicated box in the purchase flow), you consent to the immediate start of the service and acknowledge that you lose your withdrawal right once the features are unlocked.
When the transaction is processed through Paddle (Merchant of Record), the exercise of the withdrawal right and any refund, where applicable, are handled via Paddle. You may use the contact details or links shown on the Paddle receipt; you may also contact us at [email protected], and we will assist you.
Confirmation on a durable medium (for example by email) is sent to you after the order, either by Paddle or by Plan de Mariage depending on the chosen payment method.
In Quebec, contracts concluded at a distance may be cancelled within 7 days following receipt of the summary information required by the Consumer Protection Act, unless the service has been fully performed with your agreement. The summary information is provided during the purchase flow and or sent by email after the order. To exercise either of these rights, you may write to us at [email protected] and specify the email address used for your purchase; we will confirm receipt of your request and, where applicable, forward it to Paddle if the transaction was completed through its interface. Refunds, when granted, are made via the original payment method, whether the transaction was processed by Paddle or directly by Plan de Mariage.
If you reside in France or in the European Union and act as a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content and digital services, in accordance with the mandatory provisions of the Consumer Code (and, where applicable, national texts transposing Directive (EU) 2019/770).
This guarantee notably covers the conformity of the service, its availability during the validity period of your plan, and the provision of updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the digital service where such updates are required.
In the event of lack of conformity, you may request that the service be brought into conformity (at no cost), or, failing that and under the conditions provided by law, a price reduction or termination of the contract. To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
The documents below supplement these TCS. In the event of contradiction, (i) the TOU prevail for matters relating to use of the service, (ii) the terms displayed in the payment flow used (Paddle or direct payment instructions) prevail for matters relating to the transaction (including payment, invoicing, and refunds), and (iii) these TCS prevail for the remainder.
These TCS are governed by Quebec law. Mandatory provisions of the consumer's country of residence (in particular the French Consumer Code for users residing in France) remain applicable. In the event of a dispute, you may bring a claim before:
